Environmental policy

Bore is committed to operate in an environmentally friendly manner fulfilling the requirements of ISO 14001.

Our environmental policy consists of:

• Commitment to comply with appropriate environment-related legislation.
• Continuously develop the operation in a more environmentally friendly direction.
• Implement an environmental management system on all ships and in all offices.
• Prevention of shipping-related incidents and accidents, and efforts to minimize the effect of these accidents.

Sharing of environmental obligations and responsibilities inside Bore

Implement the following minimum requirements in the environment management systems:

• Establish goals and targets for pollution prevention and control of environmental impact including emergency situations.
• Environmental training of the whole personnel.
• Pay attention to environmental issues at all organisational levels.
• Observe the environmental impact of all equipment through the life cycle.
• Internal and external reporting of environmental issues.
• Cooperate with interest groups in environmental matters.
• Revise and make appropriate adjustments to this environmental policy.

Bore environmental goals are to reduce emissions into the air, reduce the amount of waste generated and use environmentally friendly cleaning agents.
