April 26, 2006 Another vessel into Rettig Group Ltd Bore's fleetRettig Group Ltd Bore has acquired another vessel, m/v Griend, into its fleet. She will join Bore's fleet under the name m/v Sydgard. M/v Sydgard is a sister vessel to dry cargo carriers m/v Ostgard and m/v Westgard that already belong to Bore's fleet. Like her sisters, m/v Sydgard will serve in the CoA (contracts of affreightment) business managed by Bore's subsidiary BHC Ltd. The vessel flies a Dutch flag. M/v Sydgard was built in Holland in 2001. The tonnage is 2,868 GT and 3,777 DWT. Rettig Group Ltd Bore is part of the Finnish family owned Rettig Group Ltd and is active in shipping. The fleet now comprises 22 dry cargo and RoRo vessels. The annual turnover will amount to some EUR 75 million and the number of personnel is 500.
